Q2 2026 ยท Active

What I'd invest in right now.

These are the areas where I'm actively looking to write checks in Q2 2026. Not vague sectors โ€” specific theses. If you're building something that matches, the link at the bottom is for you.

B2B SaaS for Polish SMEs

Vertical SaaS ยท Pre-seed / Seed

Poland has 2.2 million SMEs. Most of them use Excel, WhatsApp groups, and whatever accounting software their accountant recommended in 2012. There is enormous white space for vertical SaaS that solves genuine operational problems in construction, logistics, services, and retail โ€” with no international competitor who has bothered to localize properly.

What I'm looking for: founder with domain expertise in the target vertical, proven customer discovery (10+ interviews with paying customers), a beachhead that can serve 100 customers before expanding.

AI-augmented professional services

B2B SaaS ยท Seed

Not generic AI tools โ€” but deeply specialized tools for specific professional domains where the current workflow is painful, expensive, and hasn't changed in 15 years. Legal document review, accountancy workflows, medical documentation, technical writing.

What I'm looking for: a team where at least one founder spent years in the target profession, not just a developer who thought it might be interesting.

#3

Proptech with actual unit economics

Proptech ยท Pre-seed / Seed

SunRoof taught me that proptech is hard. It also taught me that it's possible to build defensible businesses in this space when you're obsessive about the unit economics from day one. I'm looking for proptech teams that have a clear path to LTV:CAC > 3 within 18 months.

What I'm not looking for: marketplace models that depend on network effects that haven't arrived yet.

#4

Founder-led media and education

Media / Education ยท Pre-seed

The creator economy has matured. I'm interested in founder-led education businesses that are building genuine IP โ€” not just repacking existing frameworks with a personal brand wrapper. The model needs to be either subscription or cohort-based with proven retention.

What I'm looking for: evidence of audience, evidence of learning outcomes, and a founder who is themselves an expert practitioner in the domain they teach.

#5

CEE expansion plays

Any sector ยท Seed / Series A

Companies that have proven a model in one Central or Eastern European market (Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary, the Baltics) and are ready to expand across the region. I have the network and the operational knowledge to add genuine value here โ€” not just capital.

What I'm looking for: proven unit economics in the home market, a clear GTM thesis for the first expansion market, and a team that has thought about the localization requirements seriously.
